The 9th Berlin Vegan Summer Festival will be taking place from August 19th-21st, 2016. It is the largest veggie event in Europe. As one of the three organizers, the VEBU (German Vegetarian Association) will be taking part.

This year already marks the 9th anniversary of the Berlin Vegan Summer Festival, which is going to be taking place over the weekend of August 19th-21st, 2016. For three days, the organizers will provide insights into the veggie lifestyle. At the venue Alexanderplatz, visitors old and young will be able to inform themselves, indulge in vegan food and enjoy a diversified programme.
Information stalls and vegan specialties
Goodies from international cuisines, organic vegan food and raw specialities, cosmetics that have not been tested on animals, fashion as well as leather-free accessories await the guests at around 90 information, gastronomy and market stalls. The VEBU will be on site and is looking forward to answering your questions regarding the vegan/vegetarian lifestyle. Admission is free for visitors.
Children‘s programme, presentations and music
Those interested in the topics of animal protection and animal rights, the environment, nutrition and health can inform themselves extensively from the co-organizers of the festival, namely the Albert Schweitzer Stiftung für unsere Mitwelt (Albert Schweitzer Foundation for our Contemporaries) and Berlin Vegan. In the lecture tent, the guests can listen to many interesting presentations. There will also be a colourful music and show programme on stage. Fun for the youngest visitors is guaranteed with a supervised children’s programme composed of a bouncy castle, a children’s face paint station and further attractions.
